“Stand Down” Offers Resources

COLUMBUS — The 4th Annual South-Central, Indiana Stand Down will offer resources to veterans, service members, and military families of Decatur, Bartholomew, Jackson, Jennings, Brown, Shelby, and Johnson, Counties on Thursday, Sept. 7. The 4th Annual Stand Down event is to honor, hire, and help our heroes and their families.

Local providers will be at the event to offer services to veterans, services members, and military families. The services include haircuts, health screenings, legal assistance, emergency housing options, employment support services, stress management education, energy assistance and vision screening.
