3 Things Military Families Endure in a Shutdown

At midnight EST Friday, January 19, 2018, the government shut down. Yep, ultimately put out the “closed for business” sign. But what you may not know is military families, and many federal employees, are affected in ways which the average person does not learn on the news.

Military personnel still work but do not get paid. If war were to break out right now, the nation’s 1% would answer the call, say goodbye to their families, and go and defend our country.
