Fort Hood Education Services Aid Transitioning Soldiers

As the Department of Defense’s largest education center, Fort Hood’s 22,000-square-foot cloud technology-equipped facilities serve as a military community portal for higher education and transitioning Soldiers.

“The most important thing, from the Army standpoint, is that we contribute to the intellectual capacity of our Soldiers and we add to the professionalism and the full capability of our Soldiers,” Michael Engen, Education Services officer, said. “The United States military is the most professional military in the world. So through the pursuit of higher education and anything that is offered through our facilities, we contribute to the professionalism of our Soldiers.”
