Fort Hood College Fair Draws Soldiers

The lobby and halls of the Education Services Division were filled with rows of more than 60 different colleges, April 10 and 11, during the College Fair.

The annual event is planned months in advance and begins with choosing the perfect date.

“We discuss with command, to see what the best dates will be, so it’s looking at (potential) conflict of key events and then we draft an op order (operation order),” Frances Judkins, Education Services college program manager, said. “It goes to the full chain of command, and again it’s reviewed with command support: high leadership, garrison (and) III Corps.”
