Fort Riley Competes for New Unit

Fort Riley must continue to promote its strengths to stay in contention for a new unit, retired Lt. Gen. Perry Wiggins said Thursday.

As The Mercury reported in March, Fort Riley is one of five installations the Army is considering for placement of the Armored Brigade Combat Team from Fort Carson, Colorado.
