Recently, politicians, journalists and college administrators have been discussing policies on college affordability without student input. However, as we see with Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s proposal for free tuition in New York state, it is impossible to legislate an issue effectively without the input of those who are affected.
College affordability is a real issue for students. As a graduating college senior, I have felt the impact of college debt, but it is not just about me anymore.
