Montana Senator Talks to Students about Pell Grants

While waiting for his spring wheat to ripen, Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Tester visited freshmen students at Montana State University on Wednesday and discussed his support for making federal college grants available year round.

Tester said federal Pell grants are an important tool for addressing college affordability and that they need to be available for summer school. The grants are awarded to low income student.
