Ronny Jackson, the White House physician and rear admiral, who has been tapped to replace fired Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin, was scheduled to testify before the Senate Committee Wednesday, but the top politicians have postponed the hearing, according to The Washington Post.
Most of the concern comes from Jackson’s ability to lead the troubled VA, which has seen recent controversies, including falsified wait times for patients and a massive backlog of disability claims. But the White House doctor’s own background appears to be causing issues as well.
