If you are one of the few remaining veterans who isn’t using the Post-9/11 GI Bill, you’ll be seeing an increase in your monthly payments beginning October 1.
The fiscal year 2020 monthly GI Bill payment rates will rise an average of 2.8% over last year’s rates.
The annual cost-of-living allowance is being rolled out for all GI Bill programs except the Post-9/11 GI Bill, which received its increase on August 1. You should see the increased payments in your Nov. 1, 2019 payment.
