PENN YAN — About eight years ago, Terry Mitchell’s wife told him about a writing group at Syracuse University for war veterans.
Started a couple of years earlier by two SU professors, its name, simply, was the Syracuse Veterans Writing Group.
Mitchell was intrigued.
