Florida Bill Would Allow Veterans, Military and National Guard Free Classes

A bill in the Florida legislature would allow veterans, servicemembers and National Guard members to take one free class online each academic year, News 4 Jax reported.

SB 1672, “State University Free Seat Program,” is currently in the Appropriations Committee.

“While the bulk of the bill focuses on the military, students who haven’t been enrolled in college for more than 5 years could qualify as well,” News 4 Jax reported.
