Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, Black Issues Honor HBCUs
The Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund Inc. and Black Issues In Higher Education last month in Washington recognized several historically Black colleges and universities for their outstanding achievement and service in promoting access and opportunity for students of color. Bennett College, Coppin State College and Delaware State University received the National Educational Excellence Awards for student recruitment and retention. From left, Virgis W.
