Fraternity Suspended at University of South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. ― The University of South Carolina says the Sigma Chi fraternity has been suspended temporarily from the Columbia campus.
It’s the fifth chapter closed or suspended since fall 2014.

The reason for the suspension has not been released.

USC spokesman Wes Hickman told local media that the school has been told by the Sigma Chi national office that the USC chapter has been temporarily suspended.

Hickman says the school is investigating the incident that prompted the suspension.
