South African President to Meet Students Protesting Tuition Hikes

RHONDA M. RABBITT has been appointed dean of the School of Education at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was assistant dean and director of graduate programs in education at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Rabbitt earned a bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She earned a master’s from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a doctorate from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California.

TAMARA RODENBERG has been named president of Bethany College in West Virginia, effective January 1. She is vice president for advancement for the Divinity School at Texas Christian University. Rodenberg earned a bachelor’s from Texas Christian University, a master’s from Lexington Theological Seminary and a doctorate from the Graduate Theological Union in California.

She was the director of the School of Social Work at the University of New England in Portland, Maine.
