Andrea Macchiavello is a junior at Norfolk State University (NSU), where she majors in business entrepreneurship. Her leadership on the tennis team and on campus was apparent early on. As a freshman, she was named team MVP, and as a sophomore was named the NSU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Team Spirit Award winner. Macchiavello was also an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete in her freshman and sophomore years, and made the Dean’s List and Honor Roll in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2014, she was invited to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Leadership Institute.
