Edwin (E.J.) Rogers is

MEAC Commissioner’s All-
Academic Team and the
Virginia Sports Information
Directors (VaSID) Academic
All-State Team several years
in a row. As a junior, he
was a member of NSU’s
all-academic team as the
upperclassman football
player with the highest cumulative GPA. He has served as an
academic tutor and as a youth leader at the New Life Open Bible
Church since 2003.
