Buchanan, who manages the company’s Office of Education, a division of DuPont’s Center for Collaborative Research and Education, considers “today’s students” to be “tomorrow’s scientists.” To help get those students there, Buchanan works with educators, universities and other businesses to ensure that young people are prepared for tomorrow’s world. Buchanan says, “The key is to build and sustain knowledge.” Buchanan earned a bachelor’s in management information systems and a master’s in elementary education from Widener University
