NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is donating $1 million to Tuskegee University, Advance Local reported. It’s his fifth major donation to a historically Black college (HBCU).
Charles Barkley (Photo by Advance Local)In 2016, he donated $1 million each to Alabama A&M University and Clark Atlanta University, with another $1 million to Morehouse College in 2017. Earlier in 2020, he donated $1 million to Miles College.
The donation is unrestricted, but Barkley hopes it goes to academic scholarships.
