Actor Michael B. Jordan gave students at three historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) paid lunches and tuition grants ahead of the film release for “Creed III,” Black Enterprise reported.

The schools were Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University (CAU).
Jordan also spoke at a Q&A session.
“I feel like college in general, as you know, I never went, but you know, obviously, my family and friends and just understanding what HBCU culture does to incubate Black excellence and how we square it, it’s nurtured, grown, and developed [sic],” Jordan said.
The 35-year-old movie star discussed the importance of representation in the film.
“It was really important for me to get this movie to HBCUs,” Jordan said. “But then also just the representation. I want them to be able to see themselves on screen in a really big way.”
The film is set to hit theaters next year on Mar. 3.
