MARIE LYNN MIRANDA

MARIE-MIRANDAMARIE LYNN MIRANDA has been named provost of Rice University, effective July 1. She was the Samuel A. Graham Dean and a professor in the School of Natural Resources and Environment and a professor of pediatrics and of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan. Miranda earned a bachelor’s from Duke University, and a master’s and a doctorate from Harvard University.
