The American Federation of Teachers’s (AFT) biennial TEACH professional development conference this year will signal the launch of a major national campaign to strengthen public education and student learning.
TEACH (Together Educating America’s Children) 2023 – will take place in Washington, D.C. – and run from Jul. 21-23, and feature more than 70 sessions. Meanwhile, the campaign, Real Solutions for Kids and Communities, will involve a road map of strategies towards its goal of supporting education.
Parts of the event will be live streamed.
The event will also feature guest speakers, such as author and investigative journalist Amanda Ripley; University of Southern California psychology and education professor Dr. Mary Helen Immordino-Yang; FULCRUM co-founder Kareem Weaver; and U.S. Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Cardona.
