Online Service to Target College-Bound High Schoolers

Online Service to Target College-Bound High Schoolers

Lee’s Summit, Mo.
The National Research Center for College and University Admissions (NRCCUA) in coordination with the Dallas, Texas-based e2 Communications company has launched an online service that will allow a student to get targeted recruitment e-mail from colleges and universities based on that student’s interests and profile.
NRCCUA, a non-profit group that connects students and their families with colleges and universities, is putting its Post-Secondary Planning Survey online to enable high school students to indicate the career and college preferences to more than 850 member U.S. colleges and universities. E2 Communications is facilitating communication between the students and the schools through e-mail.
“Traditionally, both students and colleges have cast a wide net with regard to the college application process….Our e-mail service will provide both students and colleges with focused, targeted and cost-effective communication that will enhance the application and recruitment process,” says Don Munce, president of NRCCUA.
Currently, more than 28,000 teachers and guidance counselors at more than 18,700 high schools use the NRCCUA’s annual Post-Secondary Planning Survey. For more information, please access the NRCCUA Web site at <www.nrccua.org>.
