The Right Man for the Job

The Right Man for the Job

As a friend and colleague of Dr. Greg Williams, I admire the determination and sense of purpose he has demonstrated in his life and his life’s work. I met Greg while attending the University of Iowa as a graduate student in the Ph.D. program (see “Rallying CCNY,” Feb. 22).
I visited his campus last year and had the opportunity to witness his vision for the students of New York City. It was obvious that the right man was selected to continue to move the school in the right direction.
I know he has the strength, integrity and character to continue to provide the very best educational access to the students of New York City and the world.

Greg Williams knows that leadership is the opportunity for service rather than personal aggrandizement. He is a person of enormous character, commitment, passion and compassion, which makes him very effective as a leader. City College is fortunate to have him as its president and I am honored to call him my protégé!

Vice President
