MONSERRAT-FUENTESMONTSERRAT FUENTES has been named dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the James M. Goodnight Professor of Statistics at North Carolina State University. Fuentes earned a bachelor’s from the University of Valladolid and a doctorate from the University of Chicago.
