YOLANDA PIERCE has been named dean of Howard University School of Divinity. Pierce was an associate professor of religion and literature at Princeton Theological Seminary. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and two master’s degrees in English and Africana studies and a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
