JIMMY T. TATE has been named chief of staff at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). Previously, he served as president of Roanoke-Chowan Community College in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Tate earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an Ed.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
