REGINALD A. BESS was selected as the president-elect of the Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies at South Carolina State University (SCSU), effective March 2019. Bess currently serves as an adjunct professor at SCSU. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from West Virginia State University, a master’s from Grambling State University and a master’s and Ph.D. degree from The Ohio State University.
