MARÍA CARLA CHICUÉN was appointed as executive director of the initiative Casa-Cuba at Florida International University. She previously served as special projects assistant to the college president at Miami Dade College. Chicuén received a bachelor’s from Harvard University and a master’s in international relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
