KIMBERLY VAN NOORT was selected as senior vice president for academic affairs and chief academic officer at The University of North Carolina System. She previously was vice president for academic programs, faculty and research for the System. Van Noort earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Ph.D. from Boston University.
