SARAH PHILLIPS has been appointed dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Pacific University. Prior to her new role, she served as interim dean of the college. Phillips received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Whitman College and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities.
