APRIL C. MASON was appointed interim provost at New Mexico State University. Most recently, she served as provost and senior vice president at Kansas State University. Mason earned a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Mount Union, a master’s in botany and a Ph.D. in nutrition from Purdue University.
