SAÚL Saul Sandoval JIMÉNEZ-SANDOVAL has been appointed provost and vice president for academic affairs at Fresno State University. He currently serves as dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at the university. Jiménez-Sandoval received a double bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish, a Ph.D. in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of California, Irvine and professional certificates in critical theory from Cornell University.
