DEUS BAZIRA has been appointed co-director of the Center for Global Health Practice and Impact at Georgetown University Medical Center. Previously, he served as founding director for the Center for International Health, Education and Biosecurity at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Bazira received a master’s degree from the University of Cape Town and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
