AKITO KAWAHARA

Akito KawaharaAKITO KAWAHARA has been appointed a University of Florida Research Foundation professor at the University of Florida. Most recently, he served as associate professor and curator at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity at the Florida Museum of Natural History. Kawahara earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland.
