SUSAN LOZIER has been appointed dean and Betsy Middleton and John Clark Sutherland Chair in the Georgia Institute of Technology College of Sciences. Currently, she serves as the Ronie-Richele Garcia-Johnson Distinguished Professor of Ocean Sciences at Duke University. Lozier received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
