Alton Standifer ALTON M. STANDIFER has been named assistant to the president at the University of Georgia. He was formerly director of new student orientation and associate director of undergraduate admissions at UGA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in middle grade education and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Georgia Southern University.
