California Institute of the Arts has named VERONICA ALVAREZ the new director of the CalArts Community Arts Partnership. Most recently, Alvarez served as director of school and teacher programs at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Alvarez holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and master’s degree in history from California State University, Northridge. She received her doctorate through Loyola Marymount University’s educational leadership for social justice program.
