SHAREKA FORTIER-EDWARDS has been appointed the first executive director for equity, diversity and inclusion at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Wash. She previously served as supervisor/program manager for diversity, inclusion & outreach at MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Wash. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social science with a focus in law, societies and justice from the University of Washington in Seattle.
