MARLYN DELVA has been appointed dean of students in the School of General Studies at Columbia University. She formerly was associate dean for student affairs and dean of students at Columbia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Barnard College and a master’s degree in higher education administration and a doctorate in health and behavioral studies and health education from Columbia University.
