Monica Hunter MONICA QUARLES HUNTER has been appointed director of the Multicultural Academic Opportunities Program (MAOP) at Virginia Tech. She previously served in the position on an interim basis, along with the associate director role. Hunter earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s in counselor education/student personnel from Radford University.
