Rosita Sands ROSITA SANDS has been named dean of the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Columbia College in Chicago. Previ-ously chair of the department of music and executive director of the Center for Black Music Research at the college, Sands has served as the school’s interim dean since 2018. She holds a doctorate in education.
