BARBARA KRAUTHAMER has been named dean of the College of Humanities and Fine Arts at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Currently professor of history, dean of the graduate school and senior vice provost for interdisciplinary programs and
innovation at the school, Krauthamer holds a bachelor’s from Dartmouth College; a master’s from Washington University; and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
