EDDITH DASHIELL

Eddith DashellEDDITH DASHIELL has been appointed the first female and the first African American director of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University. Currently associate professor and associate director of undergraduate programs for the journalism school, Dashiell holds a bachelor’s in telecommunications and a master’s in history from Middle Tennessee State University as well as a Ph.D. in mass communication from Indiana University in Bloomington.
