Having served in various leadership positions at Miami Dade College (MDC) in Florida, Martinez holds a bachelor‚Äôs degree in political science and modern languages from Middlebury College; a master‚Äôs in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and administration and supervision from Nova Southeastern University; and a Ph.D. in higher education leadership and research methodology from Florida Atlantic University.
