WILLIE E. SMITH has been named chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College. He previously served as chancellor at BRCC on an interim basis and worked in the Louisiana Community & Technical College System and its colleges for the past 19 years. He holds a bachelor’s from Tulane University, a master’s in public administration from Troy University and a Ph.D. in educational leadership from Argosy University.
