LILLIE A. BURGESS

LILLIE A. BURGESS has been named campus minister at Benedict College and is the first woman to hold the position in the college’s 150-year history. A professor of religion and philosophy at the school, Burgess holds a bachelor’s in Bible and church ministries and a master’s in Christian education and biblical studies, both from Columbia International University. She also holds a Ph.D. in comparative religion from the Union Institute and University.
