Doveanna FultonDOVEANNA FULTON has been named provost and vice president for academic affairs at Norfolk State University in Virginia. Most recently dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor of history, humanities, and languages at the University of Houston-Downtown, Fulton holds bachelor’s degree in English from Wayne State University and a Ph.D. in American studies from the University of Minnesota.
