VALERIE S. FIELDS

VALERIE S. FIELDS has been appointed the first woman vice president for student affairs at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Serving the position on an interim basis since June, fields holds a bachelor’s in elementary and early childhood education from Southern University, a master’s in education from the University of Louisiana Monroe and a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from Louisiana Tech.
