EDUARDO PEÑALVER has been appointed president of Seattle University. He will be the university’s first Latin American president. Most recently dean of Cornell Law School, Peñalver holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell and a law degree from Yale Law School. He previously clerked for former U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens.
