TALÉA DRUMMER-FERRELL

Talea Drummer FerrerTALÉA DRUMMER-FERRELL has been named  dean of students at Kent State University in Ohio. She is the first Black woman to hold the position. Most recently director of the Student Multicultural Center at the university, Drummer-Ferrell holds a bachelor’s degree in family studies from Miami University in Ohio, a master’s degree in college  student personnel from the University of  Louisville and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Kent State University.
